Backpacking 101

This course is intended for the individual with little or no backpacking experience at all. We’ll set the groundwork to make sure you have the gear you need to stay safe – and happy – on the trails. Available in both Columbia and Kirkwood.

Designed for the new bike owner, you will find out how to extend the life of your bike, and its parts, on a daily basis to give you the best ride possible.

Alpine Shop Columbia and Patagonia are hosting two social nights to promote this year’s Wild & Scenic Film Festival in Columbia. This class is a quick overview of wilderness first aid and covers the basics of making sure you can handle whatever happens in the wild

Essential for hikers, backpackers, hunters and anyone that explores the outdoors, this course will give you the basics of how to avoid getting lost and how to find your way if you do become unsure of your location.

You love your pets and want to keep them happy – and providing a healthy lifestyle and being prepared to deliver first aid care for your pet is the best way to do that!
