For over 70 years, Warren Miller has signaled the start of winter for many. Last night at Winifred Moore Auditorium, the tradition continued for a crowd of skiers and snowboarders alike with the presentation of Warren Miller’s 72nd film, “Winter Starts Now“.
This years film featured a Saint Louis native and Paralympic gold medalist, Noah Elliott, as well as Vasu Sojitra and Pete McAfee as they took on the task of completing the first ever disabled ski descent of Denali.
Local sponsors for the show included The Parkmoor Drive-In, The North Face, and Hidden Valley Ski Resort with lucky winners taking home gift cards, swag, packs, and even some lift tickets!
